It’s this time of the year again! I decided to split up my old overall website into two dedicated sites. One for my photography and this site for my research. This change allowed me to make a few adjustments in the background that will make it a lot easier for me to keep things here up to date.

A few details for the interested. The website runs WordPress and is hosted with DigitalOcean. I am using a few useful plugins making my life very easy: Jetpack (especially the sharing and portfolio bits) and WP/LR Sync. I really liked the Django/Heroku/S3 setup I was running before, but the maintenance of a custom setup just became too much effort that could be better spent on different things. For example doing research.
